Cape Town – African heads meeting in Paris for a France-Africa summit on security and peace have reflected on the late former president Nelson Mandela’s legacy, a report says.
According to SABC, the African leaders agreed that Mandela’s battle to empower Africa helped to inspire the summit’s agenda.
Mandela died at his home in Houghton, Johannesburg on Thursday. he was 95.
The summit is expected to address Africa’s economy, climate and development issues.
