Lagos - Operating revenue of 15 Nigerian banks grew to N2.806 trillion as at the end of 2013 financial year.
This represents a 12.02 percent increase over the 2012 figure of N2.505 trillion, reports Daily Trust.
The star performer was Sterling Bank whose net profit soared over 33 percent to N91.629 billion, up from the N68.857 billion it made in 2012..
Other banks that recorded notable increases in their gross earnings included Diamond Bank, Unity Bank, Stanbic IBTC, UBA, Ecobank, Zenith Bank, and Guaranty Trust.
