Lagos - The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Friday said that 16 fuel-laden ships were waiting to berth and discharge their contents at the various oil terminals in Lagos Ports.
In its daily publication, ``the Shipping Position’’, the NPA said that nine of the ships were laden with petrol, three with aviation fuel, three also with diesel, while a ship would discharge ethanol.
The document indicated that a ship was waiting at Greenview Development Nigeria Terminal (GDNL), to discharge general cargoes.
NPA said it also expected 96 ships to arrive at the various terminals in the ports from Nov. 16 to Dec. 15.
The ships are expected at ENL Consortium, Tin-Can Island Container Terminal, Five-Star Logistics and Josepdam Terminals.
