Lagos - The number of adults without bank accounts in Nigeria is far higher than those with bank accounts according to a new survey released.
The new survey reveals that only 28.6 million people, representing 32.5 per cent of adult population in Nigeria have bank accounts, reports BusinessWorld.
The unbanked constitute about 56.3 million adults representing 64.1 per cent of the adult population.
The result of the survey shows that many adults are still stuffing piles of cash in their homes.
