Lagos - Bharti Airtel Nigeria is targeting an 18 percent increase in its customer base over the final six months in 2014.
The company is planning to add an additional 5.5 million subscribers to its present 25.5 million subscribers’ base before the end of 2014, reports Vanguard.
Segun Ogunsanya, Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of Airtel Nigeria, said the company is on track to reach the 30-million mark despite the operational challenges.
He noted that Airtel plans to spend about $300 million (N48.3 billion) in expanding its network and services in the country in the remaining period of 2014.
