Lagos - Commercial banks in the country are set to commence the roll out the Bank Verification Number (BVN) registration of customers from Monday, June16.
The roll out signifies the end of the pilot phase of the project during which 21 deposit money banks issued over 7 000 BVN to existing internal bank customers, reports ThisDay.
Bank customers are expected to visit their banks from Monday, June 16 to register. The process involves the capturing of an individual’s basic biometric data information, which includes the facial image, the 10 fingerprints as well as other unique features of that individual.
