Benin Chamber, firm organise Edo International Trade Fair

06 November 2013, 20:32

Benin- Mo-Epams Logistics Limited is collaborating with the Benin Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (BECCIMA) to organise an international trade fair in Edo.

Godwin Imondu, Chief Operations Officer of Mo-Epams and Mr Andy Edobor, the President of BECCIMA, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria in Benin on Wednesday.

Imondu said that the fair with the theme “Promoting Trade for Economic Development and Poverty Eradication”, would hold from December 7 to 21 in Benin.

He said that the trade fair was aimed at revamping commercial and industrial activities in the state.

“There is so much talk on industrial revolution, especially promoting small scale industries.

“We want to showcase what our people are doing locally and also to bring people from other parts of the country and across West Africa to showcase their ingenuity."

“We are looking at all spheres of business ranging from manufacturing, trading, sales promotion and service providers.

The President of BECCIMA urged small and medium scale business operators to avail themselves of such exhibitions to improve on their technologies.
