Lagos - Nigeria received a total of N4.2 trillion from the auction of bonds in the last five years.
A breakdown shows the country realised N70 billion every month in the last five years, amounting to N840 billion a year, reports ThisDay
The higher yield in government bonds was attributed to the huge interest from Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs) and a few offshore investors.
The last auction of government bonds for this fiscal year was held on Thursday, June 19, 2014.
