Lagos - To reduce the increasing incidence of ATM fraud, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has mandated all deposit money banks to install anti-skimming devices on all their ATM terminals.
The apex bank threatened to sanction any bank that fails to install the devices in all its ATMs by June 1, reports BusinessDay.
The bank said it would invoke appropriate sanctions for non-compliance in line with the regulations guiding ATM operations security.
