Lagos - The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has directed all commercial banks to return all monies trapped in their Automated Teller Machines (ATM) back to their customers.
Monies to be refunded included money trapped in the ATMs as a result of non-dispensing or partial dispensing errors, reports The Sun.
Dipo Fatokun, Director of Banking and Payment System, CBN, in a circular to all the banks warned that failure to comply with the order would draw appropriate sanctions from the apex bank.
