Lagos - Oil exploration giant, Chevron, has concluded sales on three oil mining leases; OML 53, OML 52 and OML 55

Seplat bought a 40 per cent stake in OML 53, Amni Petroleum was the preferred bidder for OML 52 while Belema Oil Company clinched OML 55.
The company initially indicated that it would only sell the oil blocks to only one buyer.
The three blocks have total oil reserves of between 134 million barrels and 5 trillion cubic feet of gas
The firm plans sell two other blocks, OML 82 and OML 85 in a separate bidding process.
