Abuja - Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday threw out a suit filed by the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Sanusi Lamido, challenging the powers of President Goodluck Jonathan to suspend him from office.
Sanusi had approached the court to challenge his suspension from office by the president and urged the court to reverse the decision, reports Premium Times.
The court declined jurisdiction over the suit and upheld the objection filed by the federal government that only the National Industrial Court had jurisdiction since the matter is a dispute between an employer and its employee.
