Lagos - Reports said the crisis rocking the aviation sector has adversely affected air travels across the country as passengers are wary of flying, Punch reports.
Some of the passengers were said to have cancelled earlier bookings citing no reason while most of the aircrafts travel with few passengers on board.
The sector has been hit with a lot of setbacks recently including the October 3, 2013, Associated Airline plane crash, killing 15 out of the 20 passengers on board.
The Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah and other principal officers of the sector were summoned by the Senate on Tuesday to appear before it for questioning.
Nigerians, particularly stakeholders in the industry, have called on President Goodluck Jonathan to sack the Aviation minister for incompetence and negligence.
