Ibadan - Twelve officials of the Oyo State Local Government Pension Board accused of theft, conspiracy and criminal breach of trust were on Thursday arraigned in court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The accused were brought before Justice Bolaji Yusuf of the Oyo State High Court, Ibadan for allegedly stealing money belonging to the state's pension board, reports PM News.
The accused are facing 231 counts charge of fraud and stealing.
Those arraigned were ex-Head of Service, Kudirat Adeleke, Muili Hakeem Aderemi, former Executive Secretary of Oyo State Pension Board and Oguntayo Banji, former Internal Auditor of Oyo State Pension Board .
They appeared alongside Muili Adedamola, Adesina Jimoh Ayoade, former cashiers at Oyo State Pension Board, Adebiyi Olasumbo Musendia, former Administration Officer of the Pension Board, Johnson Bosede, Iyabo Giwa, a former cashier of the board.
