Edo - Globacom, the mobile network operator, announced plans to increase its reach to more rural communities.
Rowland Odolokor, Edo State Manager, Globacom, announced the plans following a tour to the Edo State College of Agriculture located in Iguoriakhi, a rural community in Edo State.
“The company will not rest on its oars at ensuring that we give the best to our subscribers irrespective of their locations Coming to Iguoriakhi, a place other networks will consider rural, is a piece of cake to Globacom because we pioneered rural telephony in this country, and we will continue to take our world-class services to the hinterlands until all the nooks and crannies of the country are talking,” Odolokor said.
President of the Students Union Government (SUG) of the agriculture college, Agape Agbolahor, said Globacom has made learning and research easy on their campus by providing them with seamless telecom services.
“I am here first to introduce myself as the newly elected President of the Students Union Government of College of Education, Iguoriakhi and most importantly, to thank Globacom for its excellent services at the college.
The entire college community, particularly the students, is grateful to Globacom for coming to Iguoriakhi and giving us the best of telecommunications services," he said.
