Lagos - The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has warned members of the public to be wary of fraudulent recruitment agency which claims to be recruiting new staff for the service.
The agency said it was currently not recruiting new staff and has not contracted any recruiting agency for any employment offer.
FIRS Head of Communication, Wahab Gbadamosi warned members of the public to avoid deception or being defrauded by the “unscrupulous and dubious characters.”
Gbadamosi said that the fraudulent recruiting agency claiming to be working for FIRS was fake and that no members of the public should patronize them.
He said whenever FIRS was ready to employ new staff, it would properly inform the public through its website and newspaper advertisements.
