Abuja - A meeting called to resolve the row over the non-remittance of N81m by Bureau for Public Enterprise (BPE) to the federation account has again ended in a deadlock.
The meeting arranged by the federal government between BPE and Fiscal Responsibility Commission (FRC) did not make any headway as both bodies stuck to their previous claims, reports Daily Trust.
At the end of a closed door meeting which lasted for hours, Barrister Victor Muruako, acting Chairman of the FRC, said BPE did not provide its audited financial statement for 2010 - 2012 as earlier promised.
Previous meetings between the two government agencies over the non-remittance of operating surplus to the consolidated revenue account did not yield any positive result.
