Lagos - Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) supply in Lagos got a boost with the launch of another gas plant in Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
The plant, owned by Banner Energy in conjunction with the Lagos State government, is expected to supply LPG to communities, development centres and cooperative societies, reports ThisDay.
Nuhu Yakubu, Chairman of Banner Energy Limited, said the product had been substantially subsidised by the state government in order to make it available to the common man on the streets
He disclosed that the state government has spent over N300 million into the acquisition of cylinders.
