Lagos - An investigative panel set up by management of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) to audit existing financial activities around the corporation’s Pension Fund has uncovered about N1 billion fraud.
The fraud was perpetrated from 2010 to 2012, reports Thisday
Top officials of NRC in charge of the funds were accused of diverting the funds into other areas.
The names of the suspected culprits and recommendations on how to recover the funds from them have been forwarded to the Chairman of the Railway Board, Bamanga Tukur.
