Lagos - Nigeria real gross domestic product growth rate for 2013 grew less than previously estimated during the rebasing exercise that doubled the country’s gross domestic product to more than $500 billion.
Data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Friday revealed that the GDP growth rate for 2013 has been revised down to 5.49 percent, from 7.41 percent, reports BusinessDay.
There was also downward revisions for the GDP growth for 2012. The growth rate was revised down to 4.21 percent from the previous estimate of 6.5 percent
