Abuja - The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) said Nigeria’s retained revenue for 2013 was N1.89 trillion, reports The Nation.
Government’s expenditure for the period was estimated at N2.26 trillion, a decrease of 13% over the amount spent in 2012.
At N15.5 trillion, currency in circulation grew by 0.7 percent in the first half of 2013, in contrast with the growth of 14.8 per cent at the end of the previous period.
In addition, credit to the private sector (CP) increased by 3.6 percent at the end of first half of 2013, compared with the growth rate of 3.1 percent at the end of the previous period.
