Abuja – The federal government is looking for a replacement of the current Comptroller General of Customs Abdullahi Dikko, after refusing to extend his tenure as customs boss, reports Vanguard.
According to Vanguard, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, who is also the finance minister and chairman of the board of Nigeria Customs Service, has convinced the presidency not to keep Dikko.
The Presidency is considering placing an acting Comptroller General in the position, before announcing a permanent replacement.
