Lagos - A telecoms rights group, National Association of Telecoms Subscribers of Nigeria (NATCOMS),said it has concluded plans to mobilize Nigerians to port from MTN to other networks if the company fails to revert to the normal prices of recharge cards and stop unnecessary extortion of Nigerians, reports Daily Trust
The group has therefore given MTN a two-week ultimatum to bring down the retail prices of its recharge cards or “face mass porting of customers out of its network.
Deolu Ogunbanjo, NATCOMS President, said it disheartening that MTN has not done anything in the last three weeks to bring down the retail prices of its cards.
He said the group would write to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) next week informing it of the impending action of customers against MTN.
