Abuja - The House of Representatives Committee on Finance has described Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala’s likeness of the 50 questions posed to her by the committee as an examination as sheer hypocrisy.
The committee said the minister’s position on the questions has vindicated the committee’s decision to grant her two weeks to answer the 50 questions on the state of the economy, reports ThisDay
Abdul-Mumini Jibrin, chairman of the committee, wondered why the minister who was prepared to address 50 questions in a session that was to last just about two hours when she was not feeling fine, would now say she needed more time when she is now fully fit, hale and hearty.
The committee reminded the minister that examinations have duration and are meant to be passed or failed.
