Lagos - The moribund Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL) has attracted the interest of some Iranian investors, who are weighing offers for the troubled national telecom carrier and its mobile subsidiary, MTEL
The investors under the Iran-Nigeria Investment Corporation are ready to plough billions of dollars into the company, reports ThisDay.
The investors have already joined forces with NigerPars telecom consortium to bid for NITEL.
Other key sectors with big potentials that the investors are interested in are agriculture, banking, oil and gas, and aviation.
