Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan has again queried the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, demanding a detailed explanation from him concerning the allegation that he has been making donations to some universities and organisations.
Jonathan is angry with the way and manner the CBN governor had been donating to communities and institutions in the name of the central bank without adherence to due process, reports Thisday.
Sanusi was also accused of holding nocturnal meetings with politicians, especially those in opposition parties and making reckless statements capable of undermining the integrity of the nation’s financial institutions.
The President had to issue the query as a result of his concern over Sanusi's activities, which have portrayed the CBN governor as working to undermine his administration.
