Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan has set up a three-man panel to investigate the N255m car scandal allegation leveled against Aviation minister, Stella Oduah, Punch reports.
The panel of enquiry is to determine whether appropriate and legitimate steps were followed in the procurement of the vehicles and also ascertain the purpose of procurement.
The decision to probe the embattled minister was taken at the Federal Executive meeting held in Abuja on Wednesday and the resolution was made known to the public by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati.
President Jonathan, The House of Representatives and Senate had earlier summoned the minister to explain her role in the purchase of the vehicles which had generated nationwide controversy.
