Lagos - The Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Adeyemi Ikuforiji, said the state government would provide an enabling environment for foreign investors to commence commercial sea transportation.
kuforiji spoke in Ikeja on Wednesday when he received a team of foreign investors on ferry services from the U.S. and Spain.
Ikuforiji said that the house would work hand-in-glove with the executive to give adequate support to the investors.
The Chief Executive of Bester Capital Ltd, Arthur Polk, who led the delegates to the house promised to lift about 500 people at a time through ferry service from one jetty to the other.
The Chairman, House Committee on Transportation, Bisi Yusuf, said the sea transportation venture on coastal routes would reduce the incessant gridlocks on Lagos roads.
