Lagos - The management of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has concluded plans to embark on mass sack of unproductive staff in the commission, reports Daily Independent.
The staff rationalization being proposed by the Director-General of the SEC, Arunma Oteh, would cut across all cadres within the commission.
The decision to cut down staff strength was based on the need to reposition the commission and also weed out many unproductive staff with doubtful credentials.
The impending sack has become a common topic among workers of the commission.
