Warri - A militant group operating in Delta State has bombed an oil pipeline belonging to American oil giant, Chevron in Warrri.
A relatively unknown group, Egbema Radical Group claimed responsibility for the attack, reports New Telegraph
A statement released by group said it carried out the attack due to the failure of both the Delta State government and Chevron to honour agreements earlier reached with the group.
The group further threatened that more coordinated attacks would be launched on the company’s oil facilities if Delta State government and Chevron fail to address the issues within 24 hours.
