Lagos - Power distribution companies (Discos) recorded a shortfall of N69bn from the proposed N144bn revenue they were expected to generate between November 2013 and June 2014.
The shortfall was as a result of the myriad of problems confronting the power sector, reports Business Today
The companies were only able to generate N75bn as revenue during the period.
The shortfall has affected the operations of these firms as many of them are unable to meet their obligations to the generation companies, gas suppliers and other creditors.
