Abuja - The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) on Wednesday lifted the suspension placed on the Akure-based insurance brokers, Prime Investment Insurance Brokers Ltd.
A statement issued by Mr Lucky Fiakpa, Spokesman of the commission, said on Wednesday in Abuja that the company showed ``satisfactory conduct’’ during the period of the suspension.
It said that the company had purged itself of all the infractions that necessitated the suspension of its license on June 14 this year.
The statement recalled that the company was suspended from doing business, following the unprofessional manner in which it handled the Ondo State Government property insurance account.
The insurance regulatory agency welcomed the firm back to business but warned, however, that the company should “henceforth, conduct its business in line with good corporate governance and market practices”.
