Jalingo, -The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has allocated 150 trucks of petrol to Taraba and Adamawa as part of measures to tackle fuel scarcity in the two states.
The Chairman, Taraba Task Force on Petroleum Distribution and Monitoring Committee, Hamman Tukur, made this known in Jalingo.
Tukur said the process of distributing the fuel to each state had begun and would be completed within 10 days.
He urged the petrol dealers to avoid selling the product above official prices, and appealed to the Federal Government to monitor of the distribution of fuel in depots across the country.
He also appealed to motorists to exercise patients as government was doing everything possible to make fuel available within the shortest period.
