Abuja - The new Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, will officially assumes office on Tuesday, June 3.
He takes over from Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, whose tenure as the governor of the apex bank ends effectively and constitutionally on Monday, June 2, 2014, reports New Telegraph.
All the aides that are going to work with him including personal assistants and domestic staff have already been screened by the CBN preparatory to his resumption on Tuesday.
Emefiele, a former Managing Director of Zenith Bank Plc becomes the 11th governor of the CBN.
