Lagos - Nigeria is committed to broadening its economic ties with India, Nigeria’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Olusegun Aganga has said.
The minister who spoke during a meeting with a business delegation from India listed the areas of collaboration to include energy, textile, pharmaceuticals and maritime security, reports Vanguard.
The minister noted that the collaboration will enable Nigeria learn from India’s success in productivity growth through smallholder agriculture and, micro, small and medium enterprises development.
Rani Mallick, India High Commission’s First Secretary, said the India government is ready to work with Nigeria to improve the ease of doing business and boost skills acquisition among Nigerians.
