Abuja - Nigeria has earned $24 billion in revenue and dividends from its operations in Bonny Island in the last 15 years.
The huge earnings sprouted from a meager $2.5 billion invested in the firm at its inception in 1999, reports Thisday.
N13 billion out of the amount came in as dividends to the country, while the remaining $11 billion was taken in as revenue on the sal of feed gas.
The country has also increased its stake in Bonny Island and now owns $14 billion worth of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) assets in the firm.
