Warri - Nigeria and Shell have lost a combined N3.2 billion ($22 million) since the EA oil platform was shut down five days ago, reports New Telegraph.
The 40 000 barrels export terminal was closed down on June 12 for Shell to commence repairs after vandals damaged the trunk line.
With world crude price currently stable at $106.01, a loss of 400 000 barrels a day will amount to about $4.2 million (N678.46 million) in revenue being lost daily.
