Lagos - Nigerian banks operating in Kenya are posting heavy losses due to lower interest income and increased operating expenses.
United Bank for Africa, Ecobank and Guaranty Trust Bank operations in Kenya slumped to a loss in the last 12 months, reports New Telegraph.
UBA Kenya has registered a net loss of Sh272 million in the period to December 2013, while Ecobank Kenya was Sh881 million in the red last year.
