Lagos - Commercial banks in the country may soon shut their doors following the continued detention of key officers of some banks by the Department of State Services.
The officers were detained over accusations of money laundering, reports Vanguard.
Several key officials of no fewer than 18 banks have been arrested and detained in the last two weeks by security operatives.
Other officers of these banks are irked that those arrested were just detained without charges being brought against them.
Some of the banks directly affected include Access Bank, Zenith Bank, Fidelity Bank, Unity Bank, First City Monument Bank (FCMB), First Bank , Skye Bank,
