Lagos - Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product rose by 6.81 percent in the third quarter of 2013.
This is 0.63 per cent higher than the growth rate in the preceding quarter, reports the Nation.
In a report published on Thursday by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the figure is higher than the 6.48 per cent recorded in the third quarter of 2012.
The report, which was signed by Dr. Yemi Kale, the Statistician General, showed that the nominal GDP for the quarter under review was valued at N11, 166, 026.39 million.
The figure is 1.81 percent up from the N10, 967, 272.89 million estimated for the corresponding quarter of 2012.
