Lagos - Nigeria’s money supply grew at the fastest pace in December due to an increase in bank lending, the Central Bank of Nigeria has said.
Money in circulation rose 1.4 percent to N1.57 trillion as at December 2013, reports The nation.
The report, however showed that total deposits at the CBN stood at N6.3 trillion, reflecting a decline by 3.7 percent below the level at the end of the preceding month.
