Lagos - Oando Energy Resources has again entered into an amendment agreement with ConocoPhillips in relation to the proposed acquisition by the company of the Nigerian upstream oil and gas business of ConocoPhillips.
The new agreement was struck with ConocoPhillips on 30 April with the new date for the takeover now extended till June 30, reports PM News.
The new date will give both parties enough time to satisfy all closing conditions and also give the Nigerian minister of Petroleum resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke time to accord her consent to the transaction.
