Abeokuta - The Ogun State government on Tuesday presented the 2014 budget to the State House of Assembly.
The state is proposing to spend N210 billion in the next fiscal year, reports BusinessDay.
Presenting the budget christened, ‘Budget of Consolidation’, Governor Ibikunle Amosun said the budget is targeted basically at the completion and consolidation of ongoing projects across the state.
According to him, the budget was made up of a recurrent expenditure of N92.70 billion, representing 49 percent of the budget while N117.51 billion was earmarked as capital expenditure.
