Ondo disburses N45m to Fadama beneficiaries

Ondo - The Ondo State Government has disbursed N45 million to fadama communities under Fadama lll programme to fund projects, Gov. Olusegun Mimiko said in Akure on Tuesday.

Mimikomade the fact known when he presented cheques for N45 million to beneficiaries of Fadama lll project at the Agricultural Development Project.

The governor said more than N291 million had been disbursed to Fadama  programme beneficiaries in the state since the inception of his administration.

“This event is another demonstration of our avowed commitment in actualising our lofty objective in the agricultural sector of the state.

‘’Our Administration is committed to fulfilling its obligation through supporting all the externally-founded projects in the state financially and with the required political will, ” he said.

Mimiko advised famers to make the best use of available opportunities and resources and promised that the government would continue to make life more meaningful for the citizenry.
