Lagos - Mobile phone dealers at the Ikeja Computer Village market have threatened to close down the market for three consecutive days following the raid on alleged fake phone dealers at the market by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON).
The dealers under the aegis of the Phone and Allied Product Dealers Association of Nigeria (PAPDAN), said they would boycott business at the ever busy market between Monday and Wednesday, reports ThisDay.
Godfrey Iyke Nwosu, Chairman of PAPDAN, said the decision to close down the market became necessary following the continued harassment by SON and heavily armed policemen on the traders.
