Lagos - The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) is hoping to spearhead further debate on issues in the power sector through a public lecture scheduled tomorrow in Lagos.
Organizers of the event said that top dignitaries and stakeholders in the power sector are expected to attend the lecturer which would hold at the Agip Recital Hall, MUSON Centre in Onikan.
According to Dele Togunde, the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of ICSAN, the theme of the lecture is, “Regulating the Power Sector: Opportunities, Prospects and Challenges.”
According to Togunde, the annual cerebral feast would be chaired this year by Engr Monsur Ahmed, Group Executive Director of Dangote Industries Limited, while the Guest Speaker is Dr Sam Amadi, Chairman and CEO of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).
Togunde disclosed that the lecture was open to stakeholders in the power sector, chartered secretaries and administrators, accountants, legal practitioners, policy makers, members of the organised private sector as well as not for profit organizations, among others.
