Lagos - Companies quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange raised over N90 billion through right issues to expand their operations in 2013.
The trend represent growing confidence on the part of the companies in the capital market as it becomes the alternative place to mobilize funds, aside from banks, reports Daily Trust.
The IPO market has been going through difficult times for quite some time.
Some of the companies that raised funds through right issue are Oando, Wapic Insurance, Transcorp, Sterling Bank, Berger Paints.
