Lagos - The suspended governor of the Central bank of Nigeria (CBN), Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has released a statement responding to allegations of financial recklessness leveled against him by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN), reports Peoples Daily.
Sanusivehemently denied the 34 accusations made by FRCN and the Presidency.
He described the allegations has false and maliciously fabricated by the FRCN and the presidency to sabotage his career.
He stated that he was suspended, not because of any wrongdoing, but because he exposed the fraud in the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.
