Lagos - At least four of Nigeria’s 10 highest paid Managing Directors/ Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) work for banks.
Three of the top CEOs worked at oil companies, reports Leadership.
The total CEO compensation for the top two chief executives exceeded N250 million and none in top 10 earned less than N50million.
Interestingly, the only woman in the list, Sola David-Borha, CEO Stanbic IBTC, topped the list with N177 million in total package for 2012..
When broken down, this becomes N484 931 daily, including weekends when she may not go to work.
