Abuja - Sterling Bank Nigeria has shutdown its network amid fears it might have been breached.
The discontinuation was disclosed in messages the financial institution sent to its customers
"The Bank 's network has been shut down temporarily. This means that all transactional applications inlcuding ATM, Internet Banking and Branch Transactions will be unavailable," the message read.
The bank apologised for the inconveniences caused to customers.
"We sincerely apologise for inconveniences caused. Please bear with us as we work on restoring operations."
